What happens if I have my Hilton timeshare advertised on SellaTimeshare.com and it doesn’t sell by the end of the year?
If you’re worried about your points expiring at the end of the year, you have a few options available to you.
1. Rescue – This options allows you to deposit your points with HGVC and save them for next year. This must be done by Dec. 31. While this will allow you to save your points, you will not be able to resell these saved points on the resale market.
2. Deposit points with RCI – If you choose this option you’ll be able to travel with your points through RCI during the next two years. Again, you won’t be able to sell these saved points on the resale market and you will lose your RCI account if you do sell your timeshare, but at least you’ll have your points banked somewhere that you can use the next year apart from the points you have up for sale.
3. Convert to Hilton Honors points – Honors points can be redeemed for a variety of things including free stays at Hilton hotels, car rentals, cruises and more.
Can I sell my Hilton Honors loyalty points on SellaTimeshare.com?
No. HGVC points can be converted to Hilton Honors points, but they cannot be converted back. Honors points can be given away through the Hilton website to friends and family.
