Accommodations
Massanutten's Mountainside Villas timeshare has comfortable and spacious two-floor condos. They all have whirlpool spas, saunas, loft areas and large, fully equipped kitchens and electric fireplaces. These condos can occupy up to eight people and have a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom, two twin beds in the loft area and a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room.
Most units are not wheelchair accessible as they require climbing one or two flights of stairs, but the professionals who work here try to accommodate all visitors. All guests have access to free high-speed wireless internet.
Attractions
The attractions at this resort can’t be overlooked. The Massanutten Meltdown indoor water park has it all, from waterfalls to water cannons to the giant tipping bucket. The Pipeline is a FlowRider for surfers, the first and largest in Virginia. The Tube Slides have a frenzy of twists and turns, the Body Slides start at 39 feet up and are 250 feet long, the Frog Pond is ideal for young ones with a maximum depth of 12 inches and the Shenandoah Cove is the family friend pool at three feet deep. There are also the Hot Springs and the Blue Ridge Rapids to enjoy. Nearby points of attraction include Shenandoah National Park, New Market Battlefield Museum, Luray Caverns, Cross Keys Vineyard, Bluestone Vineyards and Virginia Safari Park.
